Eiji Funakoshi (船越英二 Funakoshi Eiji, Tokyo, March 17, 1923 - March 17, 2007)[1] was a Japanese actor. He won the Best Actor awards at the Kinema Junpo Awards and the Mainichi Film Concours for his performance in Fires on the Plain (1959).[2]
