Eiko Koike

Eiko Koike (小池栄子, Koike Eiko) is a Japanese actress, television personality, and former gravure idol. She is best known for her strong woman persona but can also play other roles when acting. She was as a commentator for Japan's PRIDE Fighting Championship from 2000-2006. She married professional wrestler Wataru Sakata on August 29, 2007 and has supported him in his matches for HUSTLE wrestling. She is currently represented by Yellow Cab talent agency.

She almost drowned as a young child and because of this she has a fear of water.
She is friends with actress Shin Yazawa from high school. The two appeared together in the 2007 Fuji TV drama, Yama Onna Kabe Onna.
