Gackt as Sho in Moon Child
Gackt (ガクト ) is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and actor. Musically, he is best known for his work with the band Malice Mizer and his subsequent solo albums. As a personality he often makes appearances on Japanese talk shows where he displays a unique dry wit and tongue-in-cheek egotism. He is known to make wildly boastful claims about himself with a straight face and usually leaves his interviewers repeatedly aghast in disbelief, unable to tell whether he's joking or serious. In 2003 starred in Moon Child, a film he co-wrote with director Takahisa Zeze.
