Gege (解夏 ) is a 2004 Japanese movie based on a best-selling novel by singer-songwriter Sada Masashi. The phrase Gege can either mean "end of summer" or the completion of a period when a monk attempts to overcome fears.
Plot[]
An elementary school teacher named Takayuki who is gradually losing his ability to see tries to hide this fact from his girlfriend Yoko. She eventually discovers the truth and immediately flies home from Mongolia to to comfort him.
