K.C. Takamine or Casey Takamine ( ケーシー高峰 Takamine K.C., Yamagata Prefecture, February 25, 1936 - April 8, 2019)[1] is a Japanese comedian and actor. He began performing as a stand-up comedian after completing studies and practising as a doctor. His stage name "K.C." is a reference to the 1960s US television doctor program "Ben Casey", which was shown, dubbed, in Japan from 1965 to 1971.[2]
