Maison de Himiko (メゾン・ド・ヒミコ ) is a 2005 Japanese film directed by Isshin Inudou.
Plot[]
Saori is a young woman with no financial or romantic prospects in her life. One day a handsome young man named Haruhiko approaches her with a job offer - a maid position at her father's rest home for elderly gays. She's hesitant at first because Haruhiko is actually her father's lover, but having no other options she decides to take him up on his offer.
When Saori arrives at the rest home, "Maison de Himiko", she finds her father bedridden and dying of cancer. She still harbors resentment toward him for leaving abandoning her and her mother years ago, but his current condition complicates her feelings.
