Mari Nagisa (渚マリ or 渚まり Nagisa Mari) is a Japanese actress. She was one of the most famous Pink film actresses of the late 1960s, specializing in "innocent bitch" roles.[1]
Nagisa appeared in both versions of director Kōji Seki's Abnormal Criminal. In the first version (1967), she played a supporting role, and in the remake she was the female lead.[2] In their Japanese Cinema: The Essential Handbook, Thomas and Yuko Weisser note that Nagisa is one of the few appealing points in the 1968 remake, Abnormal Sex Crimes.[3]
She was often paired with actress Risa Minakami, with whom she had a special on-screen chemistry,[4] and often worked with director Kan Mukai. Perhaps her best known film with Mukai is Blue Film: Estimation (1969).[5]
