Mourning Wife (喪服の女 崩れる Mofuku no onna: Kuzureru) is a 2001 Pink film co-written, produced and directed by Daisuke Gotō and starring Mayuko Sasaki and Koharu Yamasaki. It was named second best Pink film of the year, Sasaki was named Best actress, and Masahide Iioka was awarded for Cinematography at the Pink Taishō ceremony.[2]

Release history[]

Daisuke Gotō filmed Mourning Wife for Yutaka Ikejima's production studio, Cement Match, and Shintōhō released it theatrically in Japan on September 28, 2001.[1] On February 12, 2005, Shintōhō re-released it as Mofuku no hitozuma: Kannin (喪服の人妻 姦淫).[3] The US-based company, has plans to release the film on DVD to English-speaking audiences in 2010.[4]
