Nana (ナナ ) is a 2005 Japanese film based on a Ai Yazawa shojo manga and directed by Kentaro Otani.
Plot summary[]
Based on the popular Ai Yazawa manga, Nana tells the story of two girls who cross paths on their way to Tokyo and become close friends even though their goals are very different. Nana Osaki (Mika Nakashima) is a punk rocker who came to Tokyo from the north to make it in the music industry. Nana Komatsu (Aoi Miyazaki) came to Tokyo simply to spend more time with her boyfriend Shoji. The two become roommates and go through various relationship problems all while leaning on each other for support.
