The fourteenth Pink Taishō ceremony, covering the year 2001, was held at the Shin Bungeiza (新文芸坐) theater on April 20, 2002. The night's program included a screening of the Ten Best films: Danchi-zuma: Tonari no aegi (Best Film); Mourning Wife (Second Place); Oneesan no Nureta Futomomo (Fourth Place); and Wakazuma Kairaku Ressun: Toriko (Ninth Place). There was also a memorial screening of Pink film pioneer Satoru Kobayashi's Kuromaku (黒幕) (Shōchiku, 1966). Kobayashi was the recipient of a posthumous special award this year.[1][2]
