The twenty-third Pink Taishō ceremony, covering the year 2010, was held at the Theatre Shinjuku (テアトル新宿) on April 30, 2011.[1] As part of a posthumous tribute to Pink film actor, director and screenwriter, Masayoshi Nogami, the 1978 film, Chikan kakueki teisha: Ossan nani surun'ya, in which Nogami had a lead role, was the first film shown in the evening's program. The other four films shown were honorees at the ceremony: Seiai fujin: Inmu ni mamirete (Best Film), Takanna seifuku: Mucchiri uroi hada (Third place), Shiofuki hanayome no sei hakusho (Ninth place), and Iyashi no yūjo: Nurejita no mitsubo (Sixth place).[2]
