Shochiku Company, Ltd. (松竹株式会社 Shōchiku Kabushiki-gaisha) is a Japanese film studio which was founded in 1895 as a Kabuki production company and began making films in 1921. Its headquarters are located in the Tsukiji, Chuo, Tokyo.
